What To Expect From Your First Appointment
Your first visit to our dental office in Charlotte will be an opportunity for us to get to know you and your unique smile. To ensure that we can deliver the comprehensive, individualized care you need, our team will take X-rays and periodontal readings upon arrival. These findings will help us begin to develop your treatment plan and will guide our conversations with you regarding your oral health. Dr. Carli and her team will walk through your current oral health with you as well as talk about setting goals to achieve the healthy smile you want. Your first visit is also an opportunity for you to get to know us. Ask questions, clarify your concerns, and we’ll gladly discuss our recommendations in detail.
Appointment and Cancellation Protocol
At Luminous Dental, we value your time and try our best to accommodate your schedule. We’re committed to honoring each and every patient’s time with their dentist by not double-booking and by allowing for ample time for appointments. However, we need your help in order to maintain an exceptional patient experience at our family dental office.
We will contact you prior to your appointment for confirmation. Please note, that if an appointment is not confirmed by 12:00 PM the day before, that appointment slot will be given away to another patient. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you give our office a 48-hour notice. After two instances of a no-call or no-show cancellation or a cancellation that occurs less than 24hrs before an appointment, patients will incur a $50 fee. Thank you for respecting our time.
Financial Understanding
Our first priority as your local dental office is to provide quality dental care, but we also strive to make billing easy for you. If you are interested in setting up a payment plan, interest-free financing is available through CareCredit. We also accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards. As a courtesy to our patients with insurance benefits, our team will submit claims on your behalf. However, all patients are financially responsible for their accounts as well as for negotiating any disputes that may arise with insurance providers.
